What the Scanner Checks
Mint Authority
Can the developer create unlimited new tokens?
- Revoked (Safe) - No new tokens can ever be minted
- Active (Danger) - Developer can inflate supply anytime
If mint authority is active, the developer can print tokens and dump them on you.
Freeze Authority
Can the developer freeze your tokens?
- Revoked (Safe) - Nobody can freeze your wallet
- Active (Warning) - Developer can prevent you from selling
Some legitimate tokens keep freeze authority for compliance reasons, but it's a risk.
LP Status
Is liquidity locked, burned, or unlocked?
- Burned (Safe) - Liquidity permanently removed, can never be pulled
- Locked (Safe) - Liquidity held in a locker until a specific date
- Unlocked (Danger) - Developer can drain liquidity anytime

Top Holder Concentration
Are tokens distributed fairly or concentrated in few wallets?
- Under 30% in top 10 (Safe) - Well distributed
- 30-50% in top 10 (Warning) - Moderate concentration
- Over 50% in top 10 (Danger) - Whale risk, easy to dump
We also detect if top holders are contracts (staking pools, LP) vs regular wallets. Tokens in staking contracts are less risky than tokens in personal wallets.
Token Age
How long has this token existed?
- Over 30 days (Safer) - Has survived some time
- 7-30 days (Moderate) - Still new
- Under 7 days (Higher Risk) - Very new, unproven
New tokens aren't automatically bad, but older tokens have more track record.
Transfer Tax (Token-2022)
Does this token have a built-in tax?
If yes, you'll see the percentage. High taxes (over 10%) significantly impact your trades.
Metadata Mutability
Can the token's name, symbol, or image be changed?
- Immutable (Safe) - Token identity is permanent
- Mutable (Warning) - Could be changed to impersonate another token
Understanding Your Safety Score
The scanner gives each token a score from 0-100:

| 60-79 | MEDIUM | Some concerns, review carefully |
| 40-59 | HIGH | Multiple red flags |

The score factors in all checks weighted by importance. Mint authority and LP status weigh heavily.
How to Use the Scanner
Step 1: Get the Token Address
Copy the token's mint address from DexScreener, Birdeye, or the project's website.
Step 2: Paste and Scan

What the Scanner Can't Tell You
This tool checks on-chain data. It cannot evaluate:
- Team legitimacy - Is the team real and trustworthy?
- Utility - Does the token have actual use cases?
- Future price - Will it go up or down?
- Marketing - Will people buy it?
Always do additional research. Check socials, read the whitepaper, look at the community.
Red Flags to Watch For
Even without a scanner, these are warning signs:
- Anonymous team with no track record
- Promises of guaranteed returns
- Pressure to buy quickly ("launching in 5 minutes!")
- No liquidity lock mentioned
- Copy/paste website with no original content
- Disabled selling in contract
