Understanding Your PnL Numbers

Realized PnL

This is profit or loss you've actually locked in by selling. If you bought a token at $1 and sold at $2, your realized PnL is +$1 (minus fees).

Realized PnL only changes when you sell.

Unrealized PnL

This is paper profit or loss on tokens you still hold. If you bought at $1 and it's now worth $2 but you haven't sold, your unrealized PnL is +$1.

Unrealized PnL changes constantly with price movement.

Total PnL

Simply realized + unrealized combined. This is your overall performance across all trading activity.

Limitations

A few things to keep in mind:

• Transaction history depth - We analyze your last 1000 transactions. Very active wallets may have older trades not captured.
• Airdrops and transfers - Tokens received for free (airdrops) or transferred in don't have a cost basis, which can skew calculations.
• Complex DeFi - LP positions, yield farming rewards, and other DeFi activities may not be fully captured.
• Estimates - PnL numbers are estimates based on available data. Your actual tax liability may differ.
